미디어아트 시리즈 Current는 기류와 현재에 대한 모티브를 표현한 작품이다.

은은하면서도 강력한 기류의 움직임을 대변하는 작품들은 수평의 지표로 흐르며 하나의 커다란 형태를 이룬다.

불꽃과 생명을 향하는 Flame 테마와 다채로운 독립과 순수한 군집을 나타내는 Twine 테마로 구성된 시리즈는

마치 다양한 예술과 정서적인 개념들이 우리의 일상 주변에 기류와 같이 머물고,

각자의 해석과 상황에 따라 또 다른 메타포로 형성되는 과정을 시각적으로 구현하고 있다.

다양한 형태가 서로 엮이고 휘감기는 반복에서 발견되는 우연한 만남이

시간이 흐를수록 맞물리는 하나의 거대한 형상으로 변화한다.

각각의 형태는 다채로운 패턴과 컬러로 독립성을 갖지만 시간이 흐를수록

한 곳의 지표로 흐르는 군집 된 메타포를 이룬다. 하나의 커다란 메타포는 각각의

화려함을 넘어 순수함의 결집으로 융합하고, 부드럽고 유연한 움직임이

만들어내는 순간의 변이로 상징적인 아름다움을 구현한다.
